Scholarships - AUTUMN ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022 ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Dean of the Faculty of Theatre of AMU announces the acceptance of applications for: 


1. FACULTY SOCIAL HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP:

Students who can prove their social hardship with relevant documents (family income, child's birth certificate, social hardship certificate from the social welfare office, siblings' study certificate, health certificate, certificate from the employment office, rental contract, etc.) and also state social scholarship holders (with confirmation see below) can apply for the Faculty Social Scholarship. 

2. STATE SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIP:

Students whose parents are entitled to child benefit and whose family income does not exceed 1.5 times the minimum subsistence level apply for a state social grant. They prove this by submitting a Notice for the purpose of awarding the grant issued by the Labour Office. 

3. SCHOLARSHIP FOR OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE (MERIT SCHOLARSHIP):

It is intended for students of bachelor and master programmes in the Czech language for their study results in the academic year 2020/21.  

4. CREATIVE SCHOLARSHIP FOR OUTSTANDING ARTISTIC, RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT OR INNOVATION ACHIEVEMENTS:

A student may now also submit an application for a creative scholarship by nominating himself/herself or another student. The application must include the name, year and study programme of the nominator; the name, year and study programme of the nominee; the justification of the application in at least 2 paragraphs - for which creative result you are proposing the scholarship; possibly links to relevant websites, media coverage, etc. 
Applications for all types of scholarships should be submitted on the prescribed forms published on the faculty's website HERE. 

SIGNED SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO THE DAMU STUDY DEPARTMENT BY 31 OCTOBER 2021:

- by post -> to AMU in Prague, Malostranské nám. 12, 118 00 Prague 1


Applications submitted after the deadline or without a signature will not be considered
The Dean of DAMU will decide on the award of scholarships on the basis of the proposal of the DAMU Scholarship Committee by the end of November 2021.
The conditions for awarding scholarships are governed by the AMU Scholarship Regulations, which can be found on the faculty's website HERE

Extraordinary scholarship in case of hardship due to a coronavirus pandemic is NOT AVAILABLE.

The accommodation scholarship is generated automatically from the matriculation file. If a student is eligible for an accommodation scholarship, they do not need to apply for it. An updated KOS bank account number is a condition of payment.
